EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) insulation offers high flexibility, heat resistance, and resistance to oil, chemicals, and ozone, making it common in heavy-duty industrial equipment, mining, ports, cranes, and mobile/trailing cable applications.
EPR remains flexible across a wider temperature range and resists cracking under repeated flexing far better than PVC or XLPE, which is why it's preferred for cables that move (reeling drums, cranes, portable equipment) rather than fixed installations.
